Amfani 10 na kayan kamshi (spices) ga lafiyar bil adam

  • Kayan kamshi ko in ce spices a Turance, sune kayan da ake amfani da su tun iyaye da kakani wajen kara wa abinci armashi. Hakan ya sa akasarin mutane suke son kayan kamshi cikin abincinsu. Shin ko kun san cewa baya ga karawa miya da girke-girkenmu armashi da kayan kamshi ke sawa, a kwai  wani sirri na daban da su waddannan sinadarai ke da su da in mai karatu ya ji zai kara ammana da su?

    Ina masoya kayan kamshi? To albishinku, baicin jin dadin kamshi da nagartan da kayan kamshi ke sawa abincin ku, ga wasu daga cikin amfanin sinadaran ga bil adama kamar yadda masana lafiya su ka tabbatar:

    Suna taimakawa wajen rage kwadayi                          

    Bincike da dama da masana harkokin abinci suka yi sun nuna cewa cin kayan kamshi na ragewa mutum kwadayi.  A zamanin yanzu da cin kayan kwalama ya yi yawa cikin jama’a ta inda za ka ga wasu  mutanen daga manya har kanana su na fama da ciye-ciyen kayan zaki, kuma kowa ya sani cewa cin kayan zaki da yawa abu ne mai matukar illa ga lafiyarmu, amma abun ya zame ma wasu kamar jaraba duk yadda a ka yi sai sun ci. To in har kana cikin wadannan tawagar, bincike ya nuna cewa, kayan kamshi kamar kirfa (cinnamon) yana da amfani kwarai wajen rage blood suger levels,  sannan kuma ya na taimakawa kwarai ainun wajen rage irin wannan jarababben  kwadayi na kayan zaki.

    Kayan kamshi kamar su citta (ginger), da kurkur (turmeric), da kirfa (cinnamon), da kanunfari suna da antioxidant wadda ya basu daman magance kumburi.  Active agent da ke cikin kurkur (tumeric) mai suna curcumin ya na da karfin gaske wajen yaki da kumburi (ant-inflammatory compound).

    Sukan iya bada kariya daga kamuwa da cutar daji (cancer)

    Kamar yadda muka fada a baya, active agent na wasu kayan kamshin, kamar su curcumin wadda ake samu a kurkur da capsaicin da ake samu a barkono, masana sun tabbatar da cewa suna yakar cutar daji, wato cancer. Hakanan kuma masana masu bincike akan dabbobi sun tabbatar da cewa sinadarin capsaicin na aiki  wajen tsaida yaduwar prostate cancer a dabbobi.  Sannan a kwai shaida mai karfi na cewa curcumin na rage hatsarin kamuwa daga cutar dajin nono (breast cancer), da na kashi, da kwakwalwa, da kuma na gastrointestinal tract. Saboda haka cin kurkur (cumin) ba wai kawai karawa abincin mu armashi da canza masa kala ya ke yi ba, harma kariya ya ke bamu daga cututtuka da dama. A ci kurkur da kyau!

    Suna kara tsawon kwana

    Shin ko kunsan cin abinci mai spice wato abinci mai dauke da kayan kamshi na kara tsawon kwana? A wani bincike da masu gudanar da bincike suka yi a Jami’ar Harvard ta kasar Amurka da kuma China National Center for Diseases Control and Prevention sun gano cewa, in mutum na cin abinci da kayan kamshi (spicy food) a kalla na kwana shida ko bakwai a sati, to ya na da daman kashi goma sha hudu cikin dari (14%) na rayuwa mai tsayi da lafiya.

    Duk da cewa wadannan masana sun gagara kafa hujjar cewa ga yadda abinci mai kayan kamshi zai iya kara tsawon kwana, amma sun tabbatar da cewa yawan cin spicy food na rage kamuwa da cututtuka masu kashe mutane  kamar su ciwon zuciya, da ciwon da ya shafi numfashi , da kuma ciwon daji.  Masannan sun ba da shawara da a yi karin bincike don tabbatar da yadda su wadannan kayan kamshi ke aiki don hana mutuwa da wuri.

    Suna taimakawa jiki wajen daukar abinci (nutrient absorption)

    Wasu kayan kamshin suna taimaka wa jiki wajen daukan wasu daga cikin nutrients cikin sauki, wanda hakan ke tabbatarwa an samu balanced nutrition don amfanin jiki.

    Suna kara inganta metabolism

    Kamar yadda aka sani, metabolism rate yana da muhimmanci sosai wajen yadda mutum ke samun kuzari a jikinshi (energy), motsa jiki (physical activity), da kuma  yadda nauyin mutum ke karuwa ko rashin karuwa. Yana da kyau in mutum ya cimma shekara arba’in ya kara yin abubuwa da za su taimakawa metabolism na shi.

    An tabbatar da cewa sinadarin capsaicin da ke jikn barkono na kara inganta metabolism. Wannan yaji da mutum zai ji idan ya ci barkono dinnan shi ke kara inganta metabolism rate, sannan kuma ya na taimakawa wajen kona calorie cikin kankanin lokaci.

    Sukan yi amfani a matsayin  maganin rage radadi (painkiller)

    Harwa yau, wannan sinadarin capsaicin da ake  samu a jikin barkono, zafin sa na mamaye jiki, wanda bincike ya tabbatar  hakan na taimakawa wajen rage radadi ga marasa lafiya masu fama da cututtuka irin su rheumatoid arthritis, da osteoarthritis, da kuma fibromygala.

    Suna iya ba da kariya daga kamuwa da kwayoyin cuta (bacterial infections)

    Bincike ya nuna kayan kamshi kamar su kurkur da cumin suna iya kare jiki daga kamuwa da kwayoyin cututtuka, wato bacterial infections. Saboda haka in mutum na zama a wurin da ke da zafi wanda ke iya haifar da kwayoyin halittar microbe da kuma infection, za a iya amfani da kurkur da kuma cumin don samun kariya.

    Sukan rage yanayin damuwa (stress)

    Ta’ammuli da kayan  kamshi na rage yawan tashin hankali da damuwa. Sukan taimaka wajen sako, wato releasing na sinadarin endorphins da sinadarin dopamine a jiki wadanda sinadarai ne masu muhimmanci wajen daidaita yanayi na dan adam in da wannan yanayin ke yin tasiri wajen rake shiga damuwa.

    Daga karshe, kamar yadda muka gani a sama, kayan kamshi dai ba wai kawai karawa abincinmu kamshi da armashi suke yi ba, suna kuma kara mana lafiya wajen taimakawa systems namu da samun ingantaccen rayuwa ta hanyar bunkasa lafiyarmu. Saboda haka in har muna son karuwar lafiyarmu, to mu tabbatar muna samun balanced diet da kuma yawan cin abinci mai kayan kamshi.

    A wani bangaren na kiwon lafiya, kuna iya karanta wannan makala da ya yi bayani akan munanan sinadaran dake dauke cikin kwayoyin rigakafi da kuma yadda za a magance su.
